It’s the night of the last presidential debate before Election 2008, and I’m scared. It’s not because I’m going on a date tomorrow night. It’s not because I found another mouse in my kitchen. And it’s definitely not because the man down the hall just called me, “little sugar mama.”
Lately, I’ve been feeling like not enough people truly care about the future of this country. It’s got nothing to do with supporting a particular candidate. If you’re passionate about Obama, vote for him. If you’re a fan of McCain, go for it. What really matters, is that you educate yourself on both candidates, and VOTE.
It blows my mind that anyone would choose not to vote. Too many things in life are beyond our control, but this is something that each and every one of us gets a say in.
I’ve been reminded by many people that tonight is the season finale of Project Runway. That’s cool. It’s not a bad show. But I urge you to watch the debate instead, especially if you still feel uninformed about the candidates. BRAVO will replay the Project Runway finale a trillion times. I promise.
But this, this can’t wait. The presidential election is just three weeks away.
I’ve got the facts, and I’m voting. Are you?
Awww Sammy
You and I are alot alike…..And I am here to scream from the balcony of my humble abode that if I saw a mouse I’d have two options
A) move our immediately
B) command JD to eat it
I’d like to think I’ll never see one, but I must like a girl scout, I must be prepared.
As far as growing up, you are smart beyond your years.
VOTE for CHANGE

Hear Here!
I can never remember if that’s how you spell it. But really. Great post. Short, to the point, not preachy, and not partisan. I … could not do it if I tried.
